Shit Liverpool Merchandise: the LFC credit card

Interesting as I was browsing the LFC website I had a lovely thing pop up and tell me that I could undergo a spanking new credit card. They don't know however that after a little accident involving champagne at uni I have 0 credit in the whole world. But that is by the by.
I'm asking the question as to why we have to allow lifetimes of credit difficulties so that the academy is better funded than it already is. Is this actually a good thing for the unify to be supporting? Is the kudos of having the clubs lie on your card enough to justify the rubbish rates?
