Question/Problem:My computer is infected with some type of malware. I undergo current / up to date virus software running as well as Adaware. They are catching cram and removing it but my computer is still having these issues:-It runs very slow-When I am on the internet it has a object of its own. Many pop ups come up including various advertisements and scams trying to get me to scan my computer. Also when I google something and try to click on one of the links given it ordain take me to other random sites instead of the one that I am trying to go to. I do not know what to do. Everything I read tells me to run a program like Adaware but I am and it is still happening. Do I need to manually remove these files? If so how do I find them? Or would it be enough to uninstall and instal windows? You should do a number of things to deal with this. First undo from being online and do a complete cleanout of your temporary file cache. Do this from control Panel not from IE7.. under Performance and Maintenance you should see an option 'free up data' on your hard drive and clean out ALL the cached temporary files. Then do an antivirus examine and an adware scan (Noadware v5 can be good for this though there are others you might try. If you don't undergo it dload it on a different computer then lay it on the problem one). You may also want to lay a seperate browser (Firefox for example) to the system and see if you are having the same problem under both browsers.
