I just bought a Hewlett-Packard 8000 from Comp USA and I was horrified to sight there was no regenerate DVD included. I don’t have a problem backing up my data. I am just worried if I lose the operating system windows vista 32 bit. I won’t be able to recover the vista 32. I could always buy a vista 32 cd but would be work on the Hewlett-Packard? The tech support was completely non helpful. They claim. I can’t install vista 32 on the machine and they also told me to act my own regenerate cd using a schedule they provided. I inserted DVD 1 and it takes two DVDs to burn the project and each time it would burn DVD 1 of 2 over and over and never DVD 2 of 2. So now I figure I have to go buy a manifold sided DVD but some populate undergo told me this won’t work either and it’s just dumb to try. Hewlett-Packard will not send me a restore DVD and not only that the computer came with the do by telecommunicate for hooking up to the observe. Maybe someone opened it up at Comp USA and stole the restore DVD and the correct cable? I did find a alter cover cd case. I am not sure I want to go back to vista 64 and I am worried the hardware is wrong for that. I also have a copy of XP. Has anyone gone in and put XP on a vista machine? I know a lot of people don’t desire vista. I like vista ok but I am worried the machine would not function properly if it does not get the claim OS from Hewlett-Packard. I had to regenerate it over and over again but maybe things are improved now? That's why I want recovery cds. Maybe nothing will go wrong with this computer so I won't need to restore and then maybe the build in partition will bring home the bacon? I called the US buy line to buy a cd and they don't sell a cd they only refer me approve to the so called tech support which will not sell me a disc. I tried telecommunicate support and have gotten no reply. I am so angry and I ready to go the whole computer even though I basically am happy with it. It is the principle of this attitude. I can’t buy it online because no way opens up when I refer the copy number. I can only create by mental act how hard it would be to buy one under pressure with your computer down.

Ok guys last night there was a act and I had the PC off and the surge protector which is connected to another surge protector was turned off as well. I doubt that is the problem because this morning my PC worked fine and I turned it off from the change by reversal on the back of PSU because I was too lazy to turn it off normally plus I had to go out somewhere.1st it just wouldn't boot the HDD led was flashing like normally and everything else seemed to be working book. The GPU though would spin at 100% (the fan) and it wouldn't show anything. I tried switching the VGA telecommunicate to the integrated but then it started beeping. I tried another DVI turn and reseated my GPU just pulled it and put it approve again i didn't get it out all the way through but i reseated it. Then the PC started beeping and everything worked but nothing showed on the screen. What could possibly be do by? The PC worked fine just this morning. I didn't touch it at all! Please help me. I paid so much for this thing my dad ordain rip my spine! Ok but the computer worked perfectly fine this morning. I don't anticipate they suddenly got fried! I'll seat them and try that.
