The phone number is not available anywhere on Acer’s support sites (supposedly it’s hidden somewhere in the Windows XP control panel but you can’t get that with a broken computer) so I thought a nice. Google-friendly posting might be in order to help anyone else looking at a broken Acer notebook. Probably because the number’s so well hidden. When I try to compete a DVDi get the communicate "OVERLAY MIXER BEING USED BY ANOTHER PROGRAM" and it then lists all these choices for a renderer including a default renderer. When I just gp ahead through and play the DVD it is just all awfully choppy. I am a be novice here. Can anyone help me fix this? Some other program is using overlay mixer (e g an change state video in your internet browser). Try selecting VMR7 or VMR9 based on your graphic card. Hi,I just bought Scrivener and undergo gone through its tutorial. However. I am a novice writer who needs some advice on some early stage use in the program. Specifically what is the best way to organize the following; creating displace files/folders where you can dump ideas on individual characters and creating a file/folder to displace random plot ideas or plan challenges. I found this in the Admin Error Log from a member. The measure affix communicate from your IP was less than 5 seconds ago and was blocked to prevent overloading the forum. Please try later. As we do not get a lot of traffic what does it mean??ted I get the same communicate for a member too. Surely no one can try to affix twice within 5 seconds - or is it that they manifold click the affix button. I've tried this but cannot copy the error. Oh man -- I'm really fearing the beat here... My HD was failing. So ServerBeach quickly set me up with a fresh box with the dying control installed as a secondary drive. Just downloaded the show and interested in giving it a whirl but having some strange issues:- Choosing back up --> Tutorial either reveals nothing or a blank document.- Upgrading to the latest Beta as outlined in these forums didn't understand this.- Creating a new project doesn't appear in the same manner as in the help register in the following ways:1. The dialog doesn't go away after I hit "act" and the communicate doesn't automatically change state2. If I sight the project register or select it in the "recently" list it opens but with nothing in the left column and choosing "add text" or similar does nothing. Everything but the 'add" inspector and "keywords" icons are grayed out. Running Tiger 10.4.10 on a MacBook Pro. Any thoughts? This sounds to me as if you have created a register in one version of Scrivener then opened it in a newer version (e g a beta) and updated it as requested then opened it up again in an older version of Scrivener (e g. 1.03). There was a bug in all versions of Scrivener prior to the current beta whereby Scrivener would mistake a newer communicate for an older one try to update it and thus alter it. Fortunately backups are made so no bring home the bacon is lost. I suggest deleting all copies of Scrivener from your hard drive and emptying the cast aside. If you haven't created any proper Scrivener files that you be to act yet remove any scriv files you undergo on the hard drive. If you undergo something you be to keep keep the ones with "Old_Backup" appended to the filename as these are the uncorrupted backups. Now instal Scrivener - the latest beta - and try again. If this does not help it may be a fonts issue. Go to Scrivener > Preferences > Fonts & Colors and make sure that all of the pop-ups are set to a font that you actually undergo on your system. There were some issues many moons ago where this could cause blank windows if you didn't have the fonts set in Preferences but I thought I had fixed this. wish this helps.
