May-Broyles for whom this was her first race since she was diagnosed with degenerative arthritis in her hip finished with a measure of approximately 54:38. May-Broyles and her family drove into Boston “early this morning” for the race and were not planning to alter a day out of the event. Instead. Massachusetts reunites with family after completing the 31st Tufts Health Plan 10K for Women on Charles Street at the Boston Common in Boston. Massachusetts. May-Broyles who was inspired by the women around her and by the “remarkable support of Boston,” finished the go with a time of approximately 54:40 despite her degenerative hip arthritis. May-Broyles who typically runs three miles per day does so because she loves the “feeling of just being alone for that hour.” She said. “I do it for me.
